2010 Holiday Deadline?

For standard shipping rates, please place your order by December 3rd. For expedited shipping: December 8th. It may be possible to place orders after this date and still receive them in time for the holidays but please email me at: karin@naimarkphoto.com to discuss your needs.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Most orders will take 2-3 weeks though at the height of the show season, it may take up to 4-6 weeks. Each and every image is individually prepared. Please note, when you order expedited shipping, it only rushes the shipping process. To have your order handled more quickly, please contact me directly by email to discuss your needs. If I know that you have a deadline or it is a gift, I will do my best to take care of your order as quickly as possible.

Can I search for my photos?

Yes! At the top of the gallery is an option to “search”. Click on the word and you will be presented with a box in which you can type your horse’s name. It will bring up all the images of your horse within the level of the gallery. If you search within a show, it will bring up all of the images within the show. If you search within a class, it will do so within the class. Please note that if I wasn’t given the name of your horse or I couldn’t see an entry number, it may not show up in the search. Your images will still be there but you will have to find them in the standard manner of looking through the class. Also, Candid images are not labeled by horse. After you have seen your horse’s images, take the time to check out the candid section – you never know what you may find!

Do you do any additional editing?

Usually, yes. When you purchase an image, I spend extra time carefully preparing each file. In addition to the standard file corrections and enhancements, distracting background elements are often removed. Fences are often cleaned. Phone and power lines are usually removed. Whenever I can clean a background and still have it look natural, I will do so.

Will Digital Downloads be immediately available?

No. Each digital file is prepared just as carefully as those created for print. The usual turnaround time for a digital file is 1-2 weeks. As with print orders, if you have a special need for an expedited file, please email me directly.

Can I use the images for advertising?

Personal Image Downloads and prints are intended for personal use only, but you can purchase advertising licenses through me directly by contacting me at: karin@naimarkphoto.com .

Why does it take awhile for proofs to show up online?

All proofs are edited for the web. They are leveled, cropped, lightened and prepared for viewing. It is not unusual to shoot 1000+ images per day. They do not all make it to the website but they do need to be gone through, edited, culled and uploaded. This is done so you have a general idea of how the images will look when purchased. Also, for show proofs – most are individually labeled with your horse’s name. That makes it easy for you to search for your own pictures but it does take time to create this convenience.
